About us
We have been going to live shows in Pakistan for years. Qawwali nights that run past two in the morning, concerts we waited all year for, a play in a packed hall. The nights were always worth it. Getting in often wasn't: long queues at the gate, cash only, a WhatsApp screenshot passed around as a ticket, and that small worry all the way there that the booking might not be real.
What was missing was a ticketing service built around the people buying the tickets. So we built one.
Tickits.pk sends you a QR ticket the moment you pay, shows every fee before you pay, and has real people answering the phone when you need help. Organisers get paid properly, straight to their bank, after the show. We sell tickets for concerts and qawwali nights, comedy, theatre, workshops and festivals, and we handle the money so the people putting on the show can get on with running it.
What we do
An organiser lists an event with us. We publish it, take bookings, collect payment, issue each buyer a QR ticket by email, and pay the organiser out after the event. Buyers don't need an account: name, email, mobile and CNIC is enough to book.
Events are organised, run and delivered by the organisers who list them. We are the ticketing platform, not the promoter. That distinction is set out in full in our terms of service.
Where we operate
Pakistan only, in Pakistani Rupees. We list events across the whole of Pakistan. Every price, fee and total on the site is in PKR. We don't convert currencies and we add no exchange-rate margin.
How we handle money
You pay by debit or credit card on our bank's secure payment gateway. As soon as the payment is approved, your QR tickets arrive by email and in My Tickets.
Your total is the ticket price set by the organiser, plus a platform fee and a payment-processing fee, all three itemised before you pay. Your card details are entered on the bank's page, so we never see or store your card number. The detail is in our payment policy, and what happens if an event is cancelled is in our refund policy.
