Payment policy
How money moves when you book on Tickits.pk: what we accept, when you're charged, and what happens to your payment details.
Accepted payment methods
- Debit and credit cards (Visa and Mastercard), processed by our bank's secure payment gateway (Bank Alfalah).
We do not accept cryptocurrency, and we do not use third-party crypto-capable wallets.
Currency
Every price, fee and total on this site is in Pakistani Rupees (PKR). We do not convert currencies and add no exchange-rate margin.
What you pay
Your total is made up of the ticket price set by the organiser, a platform fee, and a payment-processing fee. All three are itemised on the order summary before you pay. No charge is ever added afterwards.
When you're charged, and when you're confirmed
Your card is charged when you complete payment on the bank's gateway. Your seats are held while you pay. As soon as the bank approves the payment, your booking is confirmed and your QR tickets are emailed to you and appear in My Tickets.
If you're charged but we can't complete your booking (for example, the last seats sold out while your payment was going through), we refund you in full. We do not keep money for an order we could not confirm. See the refund policy.
Card details and security
Card details are entered on the payment gateway operated by our bank and are processed by them. Tickits.pk never sees, handles or stores your full card number, expiry or CVV. We keep only the outcome of the transaction and a reference.
The whole site is served over HTTPS. Your booking details are stored on our own server, not in a public location.
Failed and duplicate payments
If a payment fails, no booking is created and nothing is owed. If you're charged twice for the same booking, we refund the duplicate in full including fees. That's a payment mistake, not a cancellation.
Who holds your money
Tickits.pk collects payment on behalf of the organiser running the event. We hold the ticket money and pay the organiser their share by bank transfer after the event. That's why refunds are handled by us and you never need to chase an organiser yourself.
