Privacy policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and who sees it. We don't sell your data to anyone.
What we collect
- Your details — name, email address, mobile number and CNIC. The CNIC is collected at checkout to identify the ticket holder and to help prevent fraudulent bookings.
- Your booking — the events, tiers and quantities you buy, and your booking history.
- Payment evidence — the transfer screenshot or receipt you upload, and any transaction reference you enter. We do not collect or store card numbers.
- Google account details — if you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your Google email address, name and a Google account identifier. Only that; never your Google password.
- Technical data — your IP address and basic browser information, used to prevent abuse and rate-limit sign-in attempts.
- On your device — a sign-in cookie to keep you logged in, and local storage for your basket and saved events.
Why we use it
To issue and deliver your tickets, verify your payment, contact you about your booking or a change to an event, run your account, prevent fraud, and meet our accounting obligations. We may email you about a booking you've made; we don't send marketing you haven't asked for.
Who we share it with
- The organiser of the event you booked — your name and ticket details, so they can admit you and contact you if the event changes.
- Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google, and only to verify that sign-in.
- Email delivery — our email is sent through Google Workspace.
- Where we're legally required to.
We do not sell your personal data, and we don't share it with advertisers.
How it's kept
Your data is held on our own server, not in a public folder on the website. Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash — nobody at Tickits.pk can read your password. Uploaded payment screenshots are stored under randomly generated filenames and are only shown to you and to our staff reviewing your payment.
How long we keep it
Booking and payment records are kept while your account is open and afterwards for as long as we need them for accounting and dispute purposes. You can ask us to close your account and delete your personal details at any time.
Your choices
- See, correct or update your details in your account, or by emailing us.
- Ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be deleted — email salam@tickits.pk.
- Disconnect Google sign-in whenever you like; your password login keeps working.
Children
Tickits.pk is intended for adults. If you're under 18, book with a parent or guardian, and note that some events set their own minimum age.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date below.
