Frequently asked questions

Booking a ticket

Do I need an account to buy a ticket?
No. You can book as a guest with just your name, email, mobile number and CNIC. An account is created for you so you can find your tickets again, but you're never forced to set a password.

Why do you ask for my CNIC?
Pakistani venues and organisers routinely check identity on the door, and it lets us prove a booking belongs to you if a ticket is disputed. It is stored against your order and never shown publicly.

How many tickets can I buy?
Up to 10 per ticket type on most events. Some events set their own limit — a few are strictly one per person — and the checkout will tell you when that applies.

What currency are prices in?
All prices are in Pakistani Rupees (PKR). There is no currency conversion — what you see is what you pay.

Paying

How do I pay?
By direct bank transfer to the Tickits.pk account shown at checkout. You'll see the account title, bank, account number and IBAN, then upload a screenshot of your transfer receipt.

Why do you ask for a screenshot?
It's how we match your transfer to your booking. Bank transfers don't tell us which order they belong to, so the receipt is what confirms it's yours.

What image formats can I upload?
Whatever your phone takes — JPEG, PNG, HEIC, WebP — or a PDF. Large photos are fine; they're resized on our side.

How long until my booking is confirmed?
We verify transfers manually, usually within a few hours during the day. You'll get an email the moment it's confirmed. If we can't match a payment we'll email you rather than cancel silently.

Can I pay by card?
Card payment is being added. Until it's live, bank transfer is the only method — no cryptocurrency or third-party wallets are accepted.

What are the fees?
Two lines shown separately at checkout before you pay: a platform fee and a payment-processing fee. The ticket price itself goes to the organiser. Nothing is added after you've seen the total.

Your tickets

How do I get my ticket?
By email, as soon as your payment is confirmed. Each ticket carries a booking reference starting TKT- and a QR code. Show it on your phone at the door — no printing needed.

I haven't received my ticket.
Check spam first, then email salam@tickits.pk with the name and number you booked with and we'll resend it.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
Yes — they'll need to bring the booking reference. Tell us in advance if the name on the door list needs to change.

Refunds and changes

Can I get a refund?
Yes, in full, if the organiser cancels, postpones to a date you can't make, or materially changes the event. Otherwise all sales are final. The booking fee is non-refundable. Full detail on the refund policy page.

The event was cancelled — what happens?
We email everyone who booked and refund the ticket price to the account you paid from, normally within 7–10 working days of approval.

Listing your event

How do I sell tickets on Tickits.pk?
Use List your event. You set the ticket types, prices and quantities. We review every listing before it goes live — usually within a day.

What does it cost?
We take a commission on ticket sales; there's no listing fee and nothing to pay up front. Buyers pay the booking fee shown at checkout.

When do I get paid?
After the event, by bank transfer to the account on your organiser profile — ticket sales less our commission. You can track everything in your organiser portal.

Can I edit or cancel my listing?
Edit it any time from the manage link we email you. Listings can be disabled so they stop selling, but they aren't deleted once tickets exist — that would break the record of money already taken.
